Over the past few years my health concerns became greater. Having to deal with a compromised immune system and increasing allergies, I needed to constantly know more information about the food I was purchasing (additives, shipping & marketing practices). On the family farm, we already produced our own vegetables and beef, so I thought, why not, source the other parts of my meals, locally (ie: eggs bread, chickens, etc). I found through my travels a wealth of healthy nutritious food available locally. I have met and been reintroduced to some amazing local producers with "passion and commitment" for what they are doing.

The journey continued and as my health increased, people suggested that I should share my findings with others. This brings me to the next phase. It is really important to consciously think about our Countryside, our Health and our FUTURE.
